We build schools to protect the basic right to education. In rural communities across Cambodia, many students have no choice but to travel 20km or more to their nearest high school. Facing this barrier, many families choose to send their children to work instead of finish basic education.
For many children across Cambodia, access to school is not always a given. Many students in remote communities drop out of school early to work to support their families and without an education, young people have few opportunities for skilled work, continuing the cycle of poverty.
In order to lower drop-out rates and improve the provision of high school education, improvements to basic school availability and infrastructure are needed.
Together we can build schools that will provide an education for generations to come. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of impoverished youth and help break the cycle of poverty.
